This wasn't the colosseum he was familiar with, but instead one underground. This was the Hades Dome, a battle arena in an underground cavern. It had to be hundreds of feet across and equally high. There seemed to be no source of light, and yet the entire cavern was aglow with a mysterious green light. "So...I'm bored already..." He mumbled, slinging the Dragon Rage over his shoulder.

"what the heck" he said as he gawked at the immense size of the fighting arena. he then saw a familar face and in shock he ran up to him "Travis... what the heck is going on here?" he shouted then a booming voice could be heard "the two of you must fight to get out of here. you must entertain us. now ready....FIGHT!!!" the omniscient voice boomed. drake looked up at the sky "are you serious?" he muttered then looked at travis "well....i dont' usually enjoy fighting for no reason but....if it's to get us out of here. i think we'll have to fight like we really would. " he bowed "let us have a great fight travis" he smile then summoned his blade

The voice boomed "Well it was worth asking..." Travis bowed back and got in a fighting stance. Travis wasn't much of a fighter, but then again neither was Drake. This was either going to be really interesting or really boring. "So, you want the first move? I gotta warn you though. I've gotten some new moves."

"your not the only one who's gotten new moves. let's see what you got trav. " he said then carefully inched up on travis. drake jumped up ending up behind the boy just out of reach of his own blade as well as his oppenents but with a turn swing his blade around. the blade came much closer to travis then going with a straight attack ever could. drake's one handed swing was ready coming at a fast but paced speed. he didn't want to over go it and lose due to exhaustion too quickly. drake's other hand was clenched in a fist unsure what he was going to do with it just yet. a simple punch or something more devastating.

He felt the power and force of the blade, whipping his hair and cape. "...did someone leave the window open?" Travis said with a chuckle, "I think I felt a draft." Travis Lunged forward at Drake. Diving into a wide leg sweep, hoping to gain an early edge.

The icicle made contact with-...the icicle exploded off of Travis' small, silver belt buckle, shattering into a million snow flakes. Without even thinking Travis grabbed for Drake's exposed wrist while he was still in the air. With his other hand, Travis brought the hilt of the Dragon Rage towards Drake's face, planning on hitting him with the blunt end.

It's times like these I wish I had cure." Travis Re-wrapped the the cloth on his hand to help stop the bleeding. 'So now I know not to touch him... At least he won't be able to touch me. No, I wont use my new ability yet. I'll save it..' "So, just how strong is your ice?" Travis asked, "Can it block, oh, say lightning?' Travis pointed the Dragon Rage straight up. The top of the cave suddenly clouded over and started crackling menessingly. "You ready for round deux(two)?" Travis charged at Drake, wielding his keyblade in his good hand. He swept it in a large arc, bringing it down above Drake. The black clouds above still cracking, threating to release at any moment.

"a catalyst. all i need" "that doesn't seem like a light attack. better work the magic on this one" drake thought then as the blade came arching closer, he threw his blade straight at travi's head while an ice orb had formed into left hand, while trav will be distracted slightly by the incoming yin blade, drake threw the icy orbed into the sky with all his might. inside the clouds the orb had percipatated causing water to form and drop becoming snow along with the thunder. "that should weaken the thunder from becoming concentrated but got to be careful where i stand. who knows where it will strike. " he said he moved his hands in a circular form to create a shield of ice, "better to protect in one spot then the entire body." he said

Unfortunately, this was enough distraction to keep him from preventing Drakes other actions. Travis quickly glanced up at the freshly falling snow. However, he didn't have time to ponder whether this would hinder him right now. Instead he decided it was time for his new ability. He charged Drake, Keyblade in hand. He ran directly at the Drake's shield. Travis jumped swinging the blade directly at the shield. Crack! A bolt of lightning came down and struck Travis and he vanished. He instantly re-appeared directly behind Drake, where he was vunerable. Travis's keyblade was still in midswing, coming going directly for Drakes back.

" what the heck..." then drake felt the strike from behind. he was pushed to the across the arena, kicking up dirt trying to regain his balance "how...." his keyblade reappeared in his hand. he now looked like the knight he was born to become. drake used the armor on the soles of his shoes, he dashed towards travis at a blinding speed. blocking travis's line of sight with the shield. unable to let him see where the attack was coming from. he threw the blade straight at travis' foot. to pin him down while he began his next attack. a blade of ice was formed in the now empty hand. he thrusted it to the right side of the shield and while it did not hit travis at first. he manipulated the ice to angle straight at the guy. aiming right for his torso. the shield was not merely to block sight either. once travis made a move against the ice blade, the shield would surely catch the distracted boy with ice spikes.

The keyblade simply hit with a ding, and ricochet off. "I knew I wore these for a reason." But he didn't have much time to comment, Drake was already coming at him with a new attack. Travis just stood there, letting Drake come to him. At the last second, a bolt of lightning hit Travis, teleporting him away. At the same time, Travis finally cast thundaga, bring down a dozen bolt of eletricity. It was impossible to tell which one was going to teleport Travis back.

"too many lighting strikes to tell which one he's coming back with." but then drake got a plan. he twisted the shield into a giant icicle and planted it right into the ground. it was going to serve as a lighting rod attacking all the bolts of thunder straight to it. if by some chance that travis was able to make it out of the situation. he had one more plan in case.

Echoed through the cavern, sounding like it was coming from every where at once. Travis ability actually makes him re-appear instantly. He can't remained vanished...but Drake didn't know this. Travis had actually teleported to the ceiling of the cavern and was hanging from a small crack by his good hand. Between the falling snow and the dense clouds, he was completely hidden. "Those cats were fast as lightning! A lightning rod? How clever." Travis taunted him, "You pretty much just caught me. Oh wait, no you didn't. ha ha ha." Travis' laughter echoed around the cavern. The lightning should melt the rod soon, until then he was trying to come up with a plan. He was out of clever ideas. So far, he seemed to be surviving on mostly luck. What was Drakes weakness? Lets break down the facts: 1. He seemed to control an infinite amount of ice, bending it to what ever form he wanted. 2. Ice can be melted, but it takes time. 3. Lightning is mostly energy, not heat. 4. Travis had Fira, but that wouldn't melt it fast enough. Are there other ways to melt ice and snow? Water, melts ice faster. But there was no water around, and Drake would just freeze it. What else? Travis looked up and it finally hit him. A memory from when he was a kid. They would sprinkle gravel on the road to melt the snow. Travis summon his keyblade and rammed it into the crack. "Fira!" The top of the cavern exploded. Almost have the ceiling was falling. Boulders, rocks, gravel and sand all falling a hundred feet to the ground. Travis was ridingg a Boulder to the ground. 'Didn't plan on that much falling. Two birds with one stone.' "it will take time to take full effect" drake muttered

"Hmmm, this could work to my advantage." Travis lept on top of the boulders, searching for Drake. Travis found him and slung the Dragon Rage at him. Travis wasn't sure if Drake had seen him or not. Either was, Travis lept at Drake, summoning the Destiny Blade and spearing it directly at Drake's Chest. "come on, ice me baby."

He did nothing to stop Drakes kick. Travis moaned as he was wailed into the air, but he kept his wits about him. He had a plan and he couldn't let the pain distract him. Travis didn't even move when Drake came at him with his blade, not that he had time to. Right when Drake was inches away, Travis lit up like a christmas Tree. He charged his own body with eletricity. Drake was going to make contact, his blade would channel the voltage straight into his body. If his theory worked, as long as Travis kept contact, the electricity should paralyze Drakes muscles.

Posts: 586 (01/20/08 16:13:31) Administrator Drake Holy Knight Sho Destructions Never Far Behind Anna The Girl Next Door Nina Evil Never Looked So Good Aneko Fighting Single Handedly Tri-edge What's a Heart or Two Thousand Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	drake's blade had made it's full contact and drake was caught off guard with this little stunt of travis. electricity was being sent through his body. he could not remove his hand from the handle of the blade from being shocked too deeply for him to open. one eye closed from the immense pain but always keep his other eye straight on the electric eel. his other hand was opened before the attack was started so he had atleast a chance to escape. didn't seem that drake was going to be moving through travis with the attack. basically the two were stuck there and travis had the upper hand. drake bared his teeth showing the pain that he was in. luckily for drake, the snow was finally going according to plan. a blizzard was now blowing with chunks of hail along with it. smashing into the two. drake would not feel any of the ice since he was being shocked. each addition that hit drake became his armor of ice. "there's no way travis will be able to hold up in this blizzard without being disturbed even a little. he just needed that one second to do a complete skewing with a barrage of icicles.

Luckily he had planned for this, so his concentration wasn't broken. He cast Aero, creating a wind shield around himself. This diverted the most of the hail. Some still snuck through, but it was enough to tolerate. Travis glanced over, all the hail was sticking to Drake, creating armor. "Aw, crap." Could he cast Aero around Drake too? No, that would take too much energy. his current stunt was aready using more than energy than he could keep up for very long. He'd have to do something before Drakes armor got too thick. Travis summoned both the Dragon Rage and Destiny Blade. He started hacking away at Drake, he couldn't block them both with his one hand.
